Lets sail away to a place that only you
and I can recall. A place where there
are no mistakes or lasting regrets.
We’ll live and make a fool of ourselves,
just to say we did it.
With that said. Lets escape
we’ll laugh until our intestines plead
for us to stop. We’ll look each other
in the eyes and let the mysteries
of our individual selves merge
We’ll let it frolic around
and live worry free, like we have
in this place that only you and I can recall.
Remember? Where there are no lasting
Regrets? This place is real right?
Or is this just my imagination. Is this
where I am longing to be, even though
I know it will never be. Just like us.
Our distance gets longer,
and longer,
and longer.
Until what we had is no more.
When we look behind us and
see that the place we once
shared our memories are now closing
it's doors to never be visited again.
So I pick my heart up once more
and walk into the doors of another opportunity.
